The largest producer in Central America, Mexico usually produces between 5 and 6 million bags. Since much of the coffee exported tends toward the thin side in the cup, we have identified exporters who operate in the High Grown areas and have superior milling facilities. In some cases, narrowing the supply to specific farms or mills minimizes the dilution of the quality that results from blending. The bulk of the coffee is exported in the December/May period after which the color tends to fade and the cup loses some of its character. Our Mexican types include:

Custepec Superior Strictly High Grown EP screen 16
Margarita High Grown EP
Don Pepe High Grown
Cortos Low grade prime washed coffee that is clean in the cup
