Excelco Trading was started in October of 1988. Our initial focus was on the decaffeinated
coffee market where we achieved a place as a major participant in this important area. In the
years since, we have built a solid business in selected green coffee origins and can now supply our customers with
a wide variety of both green and decaf products.
Since our beginning, we have worked to develop a minimum standard that is a step
above the rest. Mass produced coffee, while it certainly has its place, is not what our roasters require of us
and is not where we have focused our efforts. Instead, we have worked tirelessly to establish solid contacts at
source in countries that have demonstrated consistency and reliability. This has afforded us the ability to supply
the quality that our customers can depend on. Our long-term performance record has given our roasters a confidence
in their supply that is rarely seen in the coffee industry.
The future for our business looks bright. The overall shift from lower quality,
lower priced, mass produced coffee to the higher grown, full bodied types bodes well for our focus on quality.
We will continue to explore the coffee world for producers who meet our criteria so that we can expand our offering
list and give our customers an ever increasing variety to choose from.
